Nebrija University requires all international students have medical insurance to cover them in case of accident and /or illness during their stay in Spain.
-Students from the European Union must request form E-111 (if you plan to stay for less than 6 months) or E-128 (if you will stay in Spain for more than 6 months) in their home countries, and this gives them access to the Spanish Social Security System.
- Non-European Union students must ask their insurance companies whether they have designated clinics in Spain or not. However, the usual process is for the students to pay their medical expenses first, and then be reimbursed by the insurance company upon return to the home country. In any event, it is highly recommendable that the students bring a letter from their insurance company that confirms health coverage through their entire study period in Spain.
Nebrija University can assist students who wish to purchase medical insurance from a well-known Spanish provider. The cost is 65 euros per month.
