The conflict in Ukraine has highlighted the different attitudes of the Member States of the European Union towards the management of the humanitarian crisis of migrants and refugees from that country, compared to those who arrived from other conflicts in the Middle East and Africa. This shows the need to rethink EU migration policies towards fairer and more impartial solidarity.
