Cambios en el sector de la construcción En el sector de la construcción es necesario revisar al alza las exigencias de las normativas actuales, incluido el Código Técnico de la Edifi- cación (CTE), en cuanto a niveles de aislamiento en edificios y contribución de las energías reno- vables en los consumos del mismo. Conviene ir, más pronto que tarde, a estándares de edificios de nueva construcción de consumo energético prácticamente nulo. Cuando se hagan rehabilita- ciones energéticas de edificios ya existentes, con- viene hacerlas tendiendo al estándar de consumo cero. Debe incluirse también la opción de desarro- llar tejados solares con una obligación legal gra- dual de instalar paneles solares en nuevos edi- ficios públicos y comerciales y nuevos edificios residenciales, diferente y complementaria a la que había inicialmente en el CTE y sus primeras versiones. Asimismo, debe aumentar a más del doble la tasa de despliegue de bombas de calor e imple- mentarse medidas para integrar la energía geo- térmica y solar térmica en los sistemas de cale- facción y agua caliente sanitaria comunitarios y de distrito modernizados.
