Un equipo de quince futuros ingenieros ha trabajado a contra- corriente junto a sus responsables académicos y la empresa Sodicars para la mejora de la aerodinámica y la distribución de peso del vehículo BV2 que pilo- tará la familia conquense. “El objetivo del proyecto es formativo y transformativo. Se trata de dar un empuje al talento de los alumnos en un ambiente competitivo profesional. Además, desde la univer- sidad exploramos las innovaciones que permitirán contar con una movilidad más sostenible y eficiente en el futuro”, explica Sergio Corbera, director del Área de Ingeniería del Automóvil y Mecánica del centro. El reto ha sido mayús- culo y el resultado posi- tivo. “Lo más difícil han sido los tempos. Esto es el Dakar y la cosa va muy en serio, no puedes llegar tarde o no presentarte”, explica Borja Díez, uno de los alumnos que pudo vivir los primeros días del rally in situ . Solo uno del grupo de quince, Alejan- dro del Río, permanecerá en el país arábigo durante el transcurso de la prueba. “Estar aquí es un regalo.
