It explores how generative artificial intelligence (AI) can be leveraged to enhance Spanish language teaching from a professional standpoint. Participants will delve into integrating AI tools such as conversational agents (chatbots), image, audio, and audiovisual generators, as well as data analysis techniques, to customize teaching methods and cater to the unique needs of individual students. Furthermore, the course covers the creation of interactive content, utilization of online learning platforms, and automated assessment methods to streamline the educational process. By amalgamating AI with established Spanish teaching methodologies, educators will acquire innovative skills to enhance the effectiveness and accessibility of their classes, providing a more dynamic and tailored learning experience. The course will build upon participants' prior reading and experiences, tailoring content to their existing knowledge levels. The methodology will be participatory, emphasizing practical application through interactive theoretical presentations, case studies, and hands-on activities. Discussions will be facilitated via forums, fostering collaboration, resource sharing, and idea exchange within a vibrant learning community. By combining theoretical insights with practical exercises, teachers will acquire the digital competences needed to effectively integrate generative artificial intelligence into the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.
Advanced Course (B).
Continuous evaluation will be conducted throughout the course, with particular emphasis on monitoring the attainment of objectives across various modules. At the conclusion of each module, a practical case study will be presented for group discussion, enabling participants to apply the concepts acquired during that module.

Participants in this course will receive a certification of achievement jointly issued by the Cervantes Institute and Nebrija University.
