Student profile: In order to access this Master's degree, it will be necessary to have a Bachelor's or Undergraduate Degree in Law, or another equivalent university degree that meets the requirements established in Article 3 of Law 34/2006, of 30 October, on access to the professions of Lawyer and Court Attorney, approved by Royal Decree 775/2011, of June 3 or, where appropriate, of alternative certifications.
Applicants with degrees obtained abroad must have the credentials that certifies their homologation, or, where appropriate, have obtained a degree in Law at a Spanish University after the corresponding recognition process that the respective university has carried out.

General Competences- GC1.- Students must acquire up-to-date knowledge on the different aspects of legal practice in bankruptcy and corporate matters.
- GC2.- Students must be able to systematically understand the relevant information, its legal context and how to apply it to complex situations, taking into account how it affects the party they represent.
- GC3.- Students must master the techniques that allow them to obtain and analyze information, evaluate its relevance and validity, synthesize it and adapt it to the technical-legal context in question.
- GC4.- Students must be able to deal with complex and unpredictable legal situations in a systematic and creative way, with critical judgment, with incomplete information, assuming risks, making decisions and communicating them to any type of audience.
- GC5.- Students must be able to add value through their knowledge and legal practice skills.
- GC6.- Students must be able to master techniques to address and solve complex problems efficiently.
- GC7.- Students must obtain the necessary knowledge to be able to carry out a restructuring of a company that is going through a corporate crisis, through the restructuring of the company and its debt.
- GC8.- Students must obtain the necessary knowledge to be able to carry out the sale of a production unit of the company in bankruptcy in order to save at least part of the activity and value of the company, together with the activity and workers of that production unit.
- SC9.- Know how to identify conflicts of interest and know the techniques for their resolution, establish the scope of professional secrecy and confidentiality, and preserve the independence of judgement.
- SC10.- Know how to develop interpersonal abilities and skills that facilitate the exercise of the legal profession in its relations with citizens, with other professionals and with institutions.
- SC11.- Know how to present facts orally and in writing, and extract legal consequences from arguments, in attention to the context and the recipient to whom they are addressed, in accordance with the modalities of each procedural area.
- SC12.- Possess, understand and develop skills that make it possible to apply the specialized academic knowledge acquired to the changing reality that lawyers face in order to avoid situations of injury, risk or conflict in relation to the entrusted interests or their professional practice before courts or public authorities and in advisory functions and highly specialized commercial courts.
- SC13.- Possess, understand and develop skills that make it possible to apply specialized academic knowledge to carry out an analysis of the commercial company in crisis, to be able to undertake a proposal for restructuring the company, or, where appropriate, assess a restructuring proposal, in order to save the company from the crisis situation.
- SC14.- Possess, understand and develop skills that make it possible to apply specialized academic knowledge to carry out the sale of a production unit of a trading company in crisis within the bankruptcy, in order to save part of the activity and value of the company and part of the jobs as an alternative to the liquidation of the company and total loss of its value and loss of all its activity.
