Education 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The role of education is key to the achievement of all the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), since it contributes to reducing inequalities and achieving equality, as well as raising awareness among all people to lead a more sustainable life and contribute to a culture of peace.
Quality education
The fourth SDG, Quality Education, is usually associated with Universities, but the SDGs must be addressed across the board in order to reach all students regardless of their academic and professional orientation. That is why both cross-curricular education as well as continuous training and university extension activities has been proposed.
