The main objective of the Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Public Relations is academic excellence in one of the areas with the highest professional demand in the field of communication: Advertising and Public Relations.
Through a renewed curriculum, designed based on the digital revolution and with a theoretical-practical approach (learning by doing), our students acquire the knowledge to develop their talent in the world of advertising agencies, media agencies, brands, or the reputation of companies. A specific and tailor-made education for student, marked by the itineraries of elective subjects depending on the desired professional path (thinkers/doers), a strategic profile or a creative profile.
"Being an advertiser is a privilege; it allows us the ability to tell stories through brands, to entertain, and even move people. It's the most beautiful profession in the world"
Diana Sánchez Serrano Director of the Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Public Relations
The inclusion of new subjects in the fourth year, such as Branded Content, Mobile Marketing, Data Analysis and Integrated Campaigns in Advertising and Public Relations complete the skills of the profiles most in demand by the advertising industry, and provide students with a portfolio that demonstrates their qualities.
The program stimulates the communicative, creative and analytical ability to face the internship included in the curriculum (agencies, companies, communication offices, etc.) and motivates the organizational and leadership ability from Nebrija's own university extension activities, such as the Youth Touched by Advertising Festival, which becomes a real pre-professional practical case.
The students who participate in this project demonstrate the acquisition of the skills learned in their degrees by organizing an event in which Advertising agencies are recognized for their best spots in terms of creativity and efficiency. They are also in charge of the design and management of said event, as well as its image and dissemination. The Festival intends to transfer advertising practice to the professional world. There are also creative contests, various workshops and the Nebrija Brand Lovers conference with visits from different professionals.

The main objective is for students to achieve the best of themselves through the development and empowerment of their personal skills and resources through personal self-knowledge.
In addition, some of the professional skills that are worked on within the three seminars are those related to interpersonal skills and active communication skills and negotiation, indispensable for our students to know how to transmit ideas, to argue them, to provide information and opinions in an adequate, clear and convincing way.
Within what will be their work performance, other aspects such as teamwork, conflict resolution and project management ability will be worked on.
In the third block, skills worked on are those aimed at increasing the student's employability. They will work with tools and techniques for job searching, and perform tasks that achieve in the student a greater use of their personal skills.
For all this we have currently active experts in selection of people, professionals dedicated to personal and professional training and professionals dedicated to the world of communication and the arts.

Nebrija University's team, made up of Bachelor's students in Advertising and Public Relations, was the winner of the 7th Yoigo LAB, a contest promoted by Mazinn, Hub of Brands (HOB) and Grupo MÁSMOVIL, in which over 400 students from 14 universities from all over the country have taken part.
The students created the Safe Zone project, in which a telephone booth built by themselves was the central axis of a staging that surprised the Grand Jury. Their proposal consisted of transforming a concept that is very vintage for Generation Z, a phone booth, to provide it with new functionality, turning this glass space for the "glass generation" into a safe space where they can express their emotions and allow them to send a message to the world.
One more year, the students of Nebrija University honor the best campaigns of the year, excellence and recognition of the most outstanding protagonists of the sector, in an edition that was attended by Luis Bassat, Toni Segarra and Concha Wert.
At the proposal of the School of Communication and Arts, Nebrija University has invested publicist Toni Segarra as Doctor Honoris Causa. Considered one of the best copywriters of his generation, the author of mythical slogans such as “¿Te gusta conducir?” (Do you like to drive?) and “Bienvenido a la República Independiente de tu casa” (Welcome to the Independent Republic of your home), he was honored for his vital contribution to advertising language.
