Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics

Learn all the technological, analytical and business aspects in order to set strategies adapted to the market

The Bachelor's Degree represents an integrating and interdisciplinary program that provides students with the essential tools to develop analytical models applied to different types of data -structured and unstructured- and to different sectors, including consulting, auditing, financial services, retail and marketing, among others. The program provides students with a comprehensive education in data analytics, programming and databases, which encompasses the academic disciplines of Data Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing and Law.

The objective of this Bachelor's Degree is the acquisition, on behalf of the students, of the essential skills for the new professional profile of Business Analyst, which have been identified as: communication, technical, analytical and managerial skills, but above all, the skills for problem solving and decision making based on big data.

In Spain, the professional profile of data analyst has a growth outlook of 30%, in addition to having one of the lowest unemployment rates (approximately 2%). This is mainly due to the growing demand from companies for this type of expert.

More and more, the labor market demands experts in business analysis and big data that cover the high demand generated by companies. The well-known Future of Jobs Report 2018 from the World Economic Forum indicates that of the ten trends that are expected to positively impact global growth, four are closely related to machine learning and artificial intelligence. Likewise, the survey of employers described by this same report indicates that 3 of the 4 growth drivers expected in the 2018-2022 period are big data analytics, artificial intelligence and cloud computing technologies.
