Nebrija University's Master's Degree in Architecture is a pioneering program in Spain and recognized in Europe. It is a program that rounds off the student's training and enables them to develop the profession of architecture in the context of the EU. These studies are established from a base of quality, demand and flexibility.
The curriculum is structured so that it can be made compatible with their professional life. Nebrija students have completed their master's studies residing abroad. We have built an intensely enriching educational framework for student education. The university faculty is made up mostly of PhDs specialized in design, energy and territory. Our visiting professors are references on the international scene, having, among other distinctions, the Pritzker Prize to their credit. RCR arquitectes, WEST 8, LABICS and Alejandro Bernabéu are names that reflect this educational reality.
Their Final Research Project focuses on the design of an urban regeneration strategy in obsolescent, abandoned areas, but that are critical for the sustainable development of the city. Specialists from public administrations, neighbourhood entities and the profession come to our classrooms for critical sessions on the work carried out by the students. The Madrid City Council, Regional Government, Spanish Government, Ortner & Ortner Baukunst are institutions and entities that endorse this commitment between academia and the transformation of places.
Read +Our students can achieve professional membership once they have finished their master's studies, while they are also ready to start doctoral studies, if they are interested. Research is also a necessary challenge and the transfer of knowledge is direct between the Nebrija study group "At the oUTSET - Architecture and Urbanism in the face of Social, Economic and Territorial Transformations" and our postgraduate program.
All this builds our dynamic educational ecosystem where we transform energy, we transform society, we transform architecture, we transform the future.

Students who apply for admission to the Master's Degree in Architecture of Nebrija University must prove to have the Bachelor's degree referred to in the first section of the Ministerial Agreement of July 23, 2010, which establishes the conditions to which the curricula must be adapted in order to obtain the degrees that enable one to exercise the regulated profession of Architect, and according to the guidelines indicated in Order EDU 2075/2010, and that their academic record corroborates the obtaining of the milestones required for the full completion of the official degree.
In order to be admitted to one of Nebrija University's official postgraduate programs, the interested person must pass an admission process that assesses the student's abilities to successfully pass the training stage. The Admissions Section evaluates the career path, academic or professional, through a process adjusted to the program in which the student is interested.
To do this, he/she must submit the completed admission application (either printed or through the online admission application form), updated curriculum vitae, photocopy of the DNI (only Spanish candidates) or passport (only foreign candidates), photocopy of the Academic Record (completed or that of the final year of the university degree) and two color passport-sized photographs. Once all the documentation (postal mail or courier) has been received in the Admissions Section, it is assessed and, where appropriate, a pre-admission letter is issued and sent to the candidate within ten days of receiving the documents.
Next, the candidate must take a specific skills test according to the chosen program. This test takes place in person in Madrid and in different Spanish cities and, additionally, it can be taken online, for those candidates residing outside of Spain.
This test, which aims to analyze the student's abilities to complete the Master's program, does not involve the candidate's commitment, it evaluates his/her profile and skills, so it does not require prior preparation and allows the student to receive more extensive advice of his/her academic and professional options.
Finally, the Admissions Commission evaluates the applications and issues its admission decision.
The criteria for assessing merits for admission to the Master's Degree in Architecture are the following:
These tests are carried out in one day -morning or afternoon- and have an approximate duration of 2.5-3 hours and consist of:

MADRID: the tests are carried out at the Madrid - Princesa Campus and at the Life Sciences Campus in La Berzosa. Check with your academic advisor for schedule availability
PROVINCES OTHER THAN MADRID: In order to offer better conditions to candidates who want to participate in the admission process, the Department of Promotion and Admissions travels to the cities where this same department has previously carried out, throughout the entire academic year, information days. These Admission Tests consist of a first round in the early call and a second round in the ordinary call, and as they are taken in person, the identity of the candidate can be proved by presenting his/her ID card.
These tests are accompanied by an Information Session for parents, which is run by one of the academic advisors of the Promotion and Admissions section.
Students who are going to study programs in the distance learning modality will take the entrance exams in person, as well as those who are going to study in the class attendance modality.
All documents submitted by the student together with the results of the Admission Tests are assessed by the Admissions Commission, composed of the Director of the University Development Department, the Director of the Courses Secretary and the Director of the program in question. The Commission verifies that the documents are administratively correct and if the candidate's profile matches the degree profile.
The results of the admission tests are communicated in writing and by telephone to each candidate within approximately 3 to 5 days. Later he/she is notified by letter sent to his/her home.

We have an enriching context in which our students are trained within a multidisciplinary environment. This ecosystem is complemented by the presence of key figures for current architecture, such as Patrik Schumacher, Emanuel Christ and Assemble, together with educational projects developed with universities such as HIT - Harbin Institute of Technology (China), MARCH - Moscow School of Architecture (Russia) and Central Saint Martins (United Kingdom). The professional internships are supported by companies such as Ikea, Cosentino, Acciona and Ferrovial.
