The Master's in Sustainable Mobility Projects: Design and Management from Nebrija University offers students comprehensive training with a multidisciplinary approach aimed at acquiring skills and professional opportunities.
Comprehensive Training: The master's degree combines both the design of infrastructures for sustainable mobility in urban environments (e.g., design of cycle paths and paths for personal mobility vehicles, traffic calming measures, integration of urban railways) and the design of infrastructures for land use planning (e.g., 2+1 roads, electric charging systems).
Multidisciplinary Approach: The master's degree incorporates technical training for infrastructure design, project management training, complementary training in rail and air transport modes, legal training on engineering contracts, and real project experiences.
Focused on Skills and Career Opportunities: Through the master's degree and company internships, students are prepared to develop their careers both in Spain and internationally, with opportunities in global projects and training adapted to the needs of companies and administrations in this cutting-edge field.
Sustainable mobility is at the heart of the transport policies of the European Union and developed countries worldwide. A large portion of the funds committed to transport infrastructure projects are linked to components of technical, economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
The master's program features professionals working in the transport infrastructure sector, both in administrations and leading companies. These professionals come from different modes of transport and offer various perspectives (project, management, operation), providing students with a unique, comprehensive learning opportunity.
Professional internships are conducted in companies dedicated to asset management, allowing for a deeper understanding of digitalization and real-world experience in infrastructure management with an innovation component.

The Master's program is designed to be carried out in person with a teacher in the classroom, though it can also be taken virtually in a 100% synchronous manner (live) and is taught by professionals in the sector.
At the end of the program, the projects developed during the course, the final project, and the internships in companies included in the master's program will create unique profiles prepared to continue developing their careers outside the academic world, with the necessary tools to differentiate themselves and generate added value.
Students will make use of the main technological and service infrastructures available, including the Virtual Campus. Nebrija University's Virtual Campus is supported by the Blackboard Learn teaching and learning platform. This virtual environment allows students to access the content of their subjects and activities at any time, as well as providing communication tools that facilitate student-teacher interaction. Along with classes, it constitutes the main channel of communication between professor and student and serves as a repository of documents, support for interactive learning activities, and a mailbox for delivering learning and assessment activities. Through the virtual campus, videoconferences are also held, important notices related to the subject are published, and information of interest to students is provided.
Finally, academic guidance begins in the Department of University Development when the student requests information. Additionally, candidates have at their disposal the Psychopedagogical Guidance Office, which offers necessary individual advice to ensure optimal academic performance and the acquisition of skills for time planning, motivation, and more.
Students must prove that they have access to master's degrees at a Spanish university in accordance with current regulations.
Those interested in studying and obtaining the Master's degree in Continuing Education in Sustainable Mobility Projects: Design and Management must have a profile that combines creativity with technology. They must be innovative, interested in research, and highly creative.
Graduates from educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area may access the program without having their degrees validated, subject to verification by the University that their level of training is equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees required and that they qualify, in the country issuing the degree, for access to postgraduate studies. Access via this route will not imply, in any case, the validation of the previous degree held by the interested party, nor its recognition for purposes other than taking the Master's degree courses.
In the case of students with special educational needs arising from disabilities, the need for possible curricular adaptations, learning pathways, or alternative studies will be assessed.
Admission Documentation to be Submitted for EnrollmentIn general, admission documentation must be submitted to the Admissions Department of Nebrija University.
The student must provide the originals or certified copies of the documentation submitted within the period established by the University to formalize their enrollment. Any inaccuracy, falsehood, or omission of data, statement, or document provided by the student during the admission period will result in the inability to continue with the exercise of the right from the moment the University becomes aware of such facts. This will lead to the cancellation of the admission application submitted and the place awarded, without prejudice to any criminal, civil, or administrative liabilities that may arise.
To access the university master's degrees, the following documentation is required:
Or
Official diploma issued by a foreign higher education institution belonging to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) that qualifies, in the country of issue, for access to official master's degree courses.
Or
Official diploma issued in a foreign educational system not belonging to the EHEA. In this case, access will be conditional on verification that the studies completed correspond to a level of training equivalent to that of official Spanish university degrees and that they qualify for access to official master's studies in the country in which the degree was issued. This procedure does not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous degree, nor its recognition for any purpose other than access to master's studies.
