Dr. Javier Valenzuela
Javier Valenzuela is a Professor at the English Department, University of Murcia, where he teaches semantics and cognitive linguistics. His research is focused on empirical validations of cognitive linguistics, using psycholinguistic methods and corpus studies. He is especially interested in the sensorimotor bases of abstract thought and in the multimodal aspects of communication. He is a member of the International Distributed Little Red Hen Lab™.
Descripción
El presente curso tiene como objetivo ayudar a los estudiantes a adquirir conocimientos básicos de la amplia gama de métodos de investigación aplicables en el desarrollo de proyectos de investigación en lingüística cognitiva. Se pretende que el estudiante conozca y se familiarice con las principales fuentes de información científica sobre lingüística cognitiva general y reflexione sobre cómo utilizar y aplicar algunos de los métodos científicos más utilizados en los campos de la lingüística cognitiva.
