Scholarships are awarded on an academic year basis, with a deadline for applications at the end of each academic year. It is imperative to submit your application within the specified timeframe, whether you are renewing an existing scholarship or applying for one for the first time. This process is managed through the Student Department.

Process

  1. Submit the scholarship application or renewal form scholarship application or renewal form along with all required documentation within the established period for each academic year, which is always in June. Nebrija University reserves the right to request additional documentation from students as deemed necessary. All documentation must be sent to infobecas@nebrija.es.
  2. It is necessary to meet the specific requirements of the scholarship program of which you are a beneficiary or to which you are applying. If these requirements are not met, Nebrija University and the Antonio de Nebrija Foundation reserve the right to penalize or deny the scholarship to the student.
  3. Meeting the above requirements entitles you to apply for a scholarship but does not guarantee its award, which is subject to budgetary provisions.

Specific requirements of each scholarship

Scholarship Renewal Excellence

Requirements

It can be requested in any year. For a student of the University to renew it or request, they must maintain a grade average above an 8 in the subjects taken so far. In the case of EPS students, the minimum grade average will be 7.5.

Evaluation considers the family income from the preceding year, adhering to specific economic parameters set by the University. These parameters vary based on family size and residence within or outside the Community of Madrid. For further details, contact the Scholarship Department.

Regardless of economic criteria, the University reserves the right to make decisions based on a comprehensive analysis of individual circumstances.

Documentation

  1. 1. Scholarship application/renewal application form.
  2. Collective registration document of the family unit (which shows all the people registered at the address).
  3. Income statements of all members of the family unit of legal age. Persons registered at the family home will be understood as such. If there is someone who is not part of the family unit, a supporting document must be submitted (such as a rental contract in a different home, an electricity or water supply contract from another location, a work contract to prove that they are an employee, etc.). In the event that the children are included in the statement of a parent, it is not necessary to submit their own income statement. If any of the registered persons of legal age has not submitted the income statement because they are not obliged to do so, a negative Treasury certificate must be provided in their name.
Scholarship Renewal Honors

Requirements

Renewal is exclusive to long-term beneficiaries since their admission to the University. To qualify for renewal, a consistent grade average above a 9 in completed subjects is necessary. For EPS students, the minimum required grade average stands at 8.5.

Scholarship Renewal Agreements with City Councils or Secondary Education Centers

Requirements

Access to this agreement is available upon entering the University. Subsequent renewals are granted in each successive year, excluding initial applications for continuing University students.
The academic criteria varies depending on the specific agreement terms. Typically, it necessitates maintaining a grade average over 7 in completed subjects. For further details, contact the Scholarship Department.
Financial requisites also varies depending on the agreement. Usually, assessment considers the family income from the preceding year, ensuring it adheres to predefined economic parameters set by the University. Scholarship Renewal High Performance Athletes

Requirements

Students can apply in any year of their studies. In order to renew or apply for the scholarship as a student at the University, all the subjects in which the student is enrolled must have been passed (ordinary or extraordinary call).

Family income from the year prior to the year of application is assessed. The income of the family unit must not exceed a series of economic parameters, defined by the University. These parameters vary according to the number of members of the family unit and the place of residence (inside or outside the Community of Madrid). Students can find this information by contacting the Scholarship Department.

Regardless of the economic criteria set forth, the university reserves the right to decide based on the analysis of the special features and circumstances of each case.

Specific requirement: be federated and participating in sports competitions.

  4. Certificate accrediting the Federation with a current date. If it is the first application, it must be certified that the student has been federated for at least 2 years.
