According to Royal Decree 1393/2007 that approves the new Regulation of the Official University Teachings, the universities will be responsible for designing and proposing the curricula they consider most appropriate according to the objectives pursued. Once verified, the Degrees will be subject to a follow-up process until the moment of their accreditation.
The Madri+d Knowledge Foundation will be in charge of organizing the protocol for the Follow-up and Renewal of the Accreditation of degrees, according to the provisions of article 27 of R.D. 861/2010, of July 2.
The follow-up of degrees will consist of two parts:
Every two years, the university must send the Madri+d Knowledge Foundation information on the status of its degrees, which will be valued by the Evaluation Commissions. After six years, in the case of undergraduate degrees, and four years in that of master's degrees, the result of this evaluation will lead to the renewal of the degree's accreditation. This process of external evaluation consists of the preparation of a self-evaluation report by the University and the visit of a panel of experts who will review in situ the information provided by those responsible for the degree. Finally, it is the University Council that issues a favorable or unfavorable report for the renewal of the degree's accreditation.
The Antonio de Nebrija University, through the TUQ, has developed a series of internal processes, within the framework established by the University in its Internal Quality Assurance System, which facilitate the follow-up of degrees.
